Quick thought while in the shower this morning
Just because Apple is throwing out the SDK next week doesn’t mean there’ll be third-party apps immediately. Releasing the SDK is just to get developers ready so that when the iTunes Store opens (the consensus right now is that the iTS will be the distributor of these apps), the shelves wouldn’t be empty. Sort of like how ADC members get advance seeds of the next release of OS X.
