Chelsea 3, Liverpool 2 →
At least it was a good and (generally) fair match. And it means Man U can have their revenge. And Babel’s goal… Holy crap…

Why should I be fussed?
I am skeptical about the constant stream of perfect 10s given to Rockstar’s newest game. I’ve played shooters, both first-person (three Halos) and third-person (Mass Effect, which wasn’t as fun as Halo), and I’ve experienced massive open world environments in video games (post-Underground 2 Need for Speeds, Mass Effect and Burnout Paradise). So what has GTA4 got to offer me...
Microsoft Messenger for Mac →
Now effing-finally with video conference. (Update: But wait, what’s this? A/V is only for corporate accounts? Click, command-delete, back to iChat.)
YES! Dirty Sexy Money and Thomas are on iTunes!

Winehouse working on 'Bond theme' →
Urgh… I don’t like this. I’ve never liked any of Winehouse’s singles, and I don’t see how this might be different…

I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.

I (sort of) had this idea half a year or so ago when, in an attempt to ease the pain of skimming through the news and see whether RSS can completely replace newspapers for me (that’s for another day), I decided to organise my feeds by topic in NetNewsWire. This just takes that idea even further by actually laying it out like a newspaper, probably making feed-reading more natural. And those...

Kovalainen’s fucked… (via my Twitter)
Usually it’s Windows that gives you the most un-understandable error messages, but Mac OS X isn’t guilt-free either. Take this as an example: Does anybody has any idea what it means? I’ve had that several times already but nothing seems to be wrong with the network.

Yahoo! kicks off re-wiring project →
Good idea, but what about the execution? Knowing it’s Yahoo!, I wouldn’t be surprised if they somehow messed it up. The only Yahoo! property I actually enjoy using is Flickr, and Yang & Co. didn’t actually make it themselves, did they?
Rumor: Bungie's next game a third-person Halo... →
But haven’t they told us the back story of Halo already?

Transformers star 'sexiest woman' →
I would like to say that I wholeheartedly agree with who’s in the top 5, but not the order. It should go (in descending order) Fox, Keeley, Panettiere, Cuthbert, then Alba.
Podcasting is dead. Long Live… uh…Something Like... →
I agree, Podshow was a lame name and Mevio just sounds much better. Wonder how much the name cost…

RapidWeaver 4 exclusive preview on Ars Technica
→
Iiiiinteresting… I used to use RapidWeaver 3, but wasn’t sure it was worth the asking price and eventually stopped using it because it was a tad slow. (Granted, this was back when I was using the 667MHz TiBook with Tiger.) Another reasons why I stopped using it was because it was too cumbersome and didn’t allow me to do quick fire entries like I can with Tumblr. But hey, like I...

Electronic Arts announces Monopoly →
Finally! I’ve been waiting for more board games to pop up on consoles (Xbox or DS) ever since I got my DS. These games will benefit hugely from online play. I mean it just makes total sense, right? (If you need an example, look at UNO on Xbox Live Marketplace.) Now, when is Risk coming?
McDonald's designer look →
The mocha (i.e. brown) outfit looks like it’s made for a cleaning lady. (No offence to cleaners.)
iPhone a substitute for paper boarding passes →
Unfortunately the self check in counters in T3 make this entirely unnecessary for me.
McCain's Optimum Look →
I’ve never seen McCain’s campaign logo before, let alone study it. To me, when I was looking at the shrunken version of the icon on my iPhone, I thought, “it doesn’t look bad.” But once I’ve zoomed in, my old impressions of Optima came back: it just didn’t look right. Actually that’s a lie. I think the font looks alright, but it’s really hard...

How can Sony design such a beautiful console, and then make such a bland accessory? Otherwise, interesting features. Should help more than compete against the Xbox 360’s IPTV functionality (whenever that comes).

NY tower plans found in rubbish →
Maybe someone didn’t like the design. That’s why they threw it out. On the topic of its appearance, the Freedom Tower looks a little boring in my opinion, and when you’re not going to be the world’s tallest building, you need the looks. Okay, maybe it has the address, but Sears Tower looks much better.
