Oh hey, Back to My Mac works. I’m writing this on my MacBook at home from the back room at work. It’s not all smooth (802.11g here at the store), and I had to get an AirPort Extreme to make it work (Dad’s Linksys had some wonky/weird NAT setting or something), but whatever…

Trying out Things on the Mac, and planning to look at OmniFocus. I’ve started looking at to-do apps recently on the iPhone. I’ve already gone through Erica Sudan’s To Do and Zenbe’s Zenbe Lists, and recently started using DoBot’s ToDos. Zenbe had the most comfortable UI, but doesn’t allow adding notes to tasks. Sudan’s To Do did what I needed it to, but...

Both WALL-E and The Dark Knight are great films, but in different ways. The former is a great wind-down film; the latter is an utter mind-blower. Pixar’s film is especially amazing when you look into the details (you’d start noticing them after seeing it 4 times in a month), but that’s not so much the case for Nolan’s. Another thing: is it just me, or does WALL-E,...

David Cameron's bike stolen while he shopped →
Apparently he chained it to a bollard. No wonder they could steal it. On the other hand, carrying a bike with a chain through its wheel on your shoulder isn’t very discrete. Unless they had transportation (which sounds a bit too much for a simple bike theft), the thieves shouldn’t be hard to spot.

Sounds good. Just hope they won’t disallow any “offensive” protests. Avenge Tiananmen Square anyone?

I’m glad I didn’t stop watching the grand prix after the first thirty five minutes or so (the first half was really boring). Otherwise I would’ve missed Glock’s bizarre accident and Hamilton’s incredible driving against Massa.

Now that the iPhone Facebook app knows the existence of Walls, I’m starting to think that it’s possible this little pocket thing can completely replace my MacBook for normal day-to-day use. I mean, I’ve got Facebook, NetNewsWire, Twitter, AIM, Safari, and Tap Tap Revenge. What more do I need? Maybe I should do an experiment: “iPhone week”…
