Watching F1: 2011 Hungarian GP
Geez, they’re finally addressing the Sky issue on air.
So if you straddle that red “Pit Lane” boundary at the front of the garage — like tourists straddle the meridian line at Greenwich — does that mean you’re simultaneously in the garage and the pit lane?
Jenson, the cake’s a lie etc.
Ross Brawn bought all of this in 2009?! Holy shit.
Aww, they didn’t leave/fixed...

BBC and Sky Awarded Rights in New Formula One Deal →
Well fuck. I wouldn’t mind this quite so much if Sky isn’t controlled by News Corp/the Murdoch family.
Will I be able to watch the HD coverage on the Xbox? And when will we move on from subscription-by-package to subscription-by‑programme?

Compared to, say, the French, the Germans, or the nearby Swedes, the Norwegians don’t really have that much of an accent.

I brake, hit the apex, and accelerate. I don’t fucking handbrake, lose the tail, countersteer, dab the throttle, and fucking drift! Damn you Forza and your 100,000-point drifting achievement.

Watching F1: 2011 German GP
Woo! Can’t wait to see Brundle’s Webber–Hamilton Q3 lap comparison. That was incredible yesterday.
Eddie almost looks like he’s a tad too small for his jacket.
Damn you Tumblr and your overloads.
Nice to see Alonso having fun for once in an interview.
I need to find a clip of that 2007 German GP.
Is Brundle even allowed to be that far back on the grid?
Yes! The comparison...

I haven’t seen any of the seventh movies yet, but watching Chamber of Secrets just now on TV made me realise just how far the Potter films have come along. The costumes, the sets, the dialogue… The way they handled the adaptation still stinks though.

Going through the iTunes Plus upgrade page — no, I still have a couple hundred songs yet to de-DRM from the early days of the iTMS — is like going through a musical time capsule. Faith Hill, Gwen Stefani, East 17, Ashlee Simpson… Geez.
Windows Live Mesh for Mac 15.4.5726.23 →
New update that works with Lion. Don’t understand why they couldn’t put this out before yesterday though. Developer betas had been out for months, and the GM has been around for almost three weeks, so Microsoft has had plenty of time to prepare.

There’s a disturbance in my world and it’s called Lion.
Forgot my wallpaper.
Forgot my Finder window size and position; yes, I am finicky about that.
Medium-sized sidebar icons?!
Launchpad has included a bunch of apps that needn’t be there, like the uninstallers for Adobe CS5, and individual icons for each Sims 3 expansion pack.
Windows Live Mesh still doesn’t work.

Somethings deserved to be bombed, like spiders. China’s somewhere on that list as well.

For some reason, my People hub had begun to behave a bit unpredictably. Some Facebook feed items are missing, or items appear on the phone but not on Facebook. Items that used to be present might also disappear later.

James’ and Richard’s car train? One of the most glorious things I had ever seen. More glorious than the amphibious cars, save for the (staged) bit of cocking about at the end.
Should make an encore. Imagine a double-headed train with more carriages, more power, more speed. Don’t muck about. Just try to build something that can get from A to B quickly.

Annoying: people post something on Tumblr that I want to reblog, but because they hadn’t sourced it properly, I have to spend ages trawling the Internet to find the original post.

Had to go back two weeks on my Facebook News Feed to hide the posts made by the Pages that I liked. Shame Windows Phone’s People hub can’t make a distinction between friends and Pages.

As it’s cycling through the profile pics in my address book, why does the People tile occasionally show the Facebook logo as if it’s one of my contacts? Don’t need to be reminded that I’m on The Social Network.

Can’t wait for Forza 4 so I can drive the new Arena circuit.
This biking film is much better than the BBQ one last year.
Woo! Prince Harry!
There’s a new huge bulge in front of the McLarens’ side pod.
I can see Zuckerberg wearing that Red Bull hoodie.
Why can’t all build-ups be this good?

A Physics Joke
Newton, Pascal, and Einstein are playing hide-and-go-seek in heaven. Einstein closes his eyes and starts counting. Pascal goes and hides behind a cloud. Newton stays where he is, and draws a 1 m × 1 m square on the floor around him.
Einstein finishes counting and turns around. “Ah ha, Newton! I found you!”
“No you haven’t, you’ve found one Newton over 1 m2. You found...
