Watching the Chateau fight scene just now, I’ve finally realised what Persephone meant when she said “she wasn’t kissing your face, my love”.
I was thirteen when Reloaded came out. I was more innocent back then.

It’s times and events like Halo Fest that Halo Waypoint was made for, that make it shine. Otherwise, it’s not necessarily the place I’d go to for Halo stuff. Although I suppose that will improve now that 343 has taken over from Bungie and should eventually become the new B.net for game stats and info.

Watching F1: 2011 Belgian GP
It’s back! But don’t think we’ve forgotten about the Sky thing.
Something about blistered tyres on Twitter?
It’s kinda weird how Alonso qualified so far down.
Hamilton will have to be careful if he doesn’t want to let Vettel T-bone a McLaren again.
Holy crap, a Schumacher working out.
We haven’t seen/fought with Tanya from Sky Germany in a while.
Holy...

Was so tired last night that I forgot I had left my glasses on the pillow and almost chrushed them. Geez…

People on the northern side of Oxford Street: will those with umbrellas please move out towards the street? The umbrella-less like me need the shaded part of the pavement to avoid the rain and you’re just clogging it up. If you are going to use the shade, at least close your enormous sky shield.

Allen Paltrow's Experience with Jobs and Apple →
Gruber linked to several Steve Jobs stories today, but this is probably my favourite.
allenpaltrow:
My neighbor Brooke mentioned that Steve Jobs, busy as he is, always reads email sent to his public address. I think I was around 10 or 12, and I sent a very enthusiastic and grammatically incorrect message including a picture of my shaved head.
Apparently he forwarded it to the head of Public...

Yea, I thought Items would be going when I realised that it wasn’t in the WP7 app. Disappointed, but hey.

Hauling my hefty wheel stand up the stairs with the climax of Flynn Lives blaring in the background feels awesome, fantastic, heroic. Ha.

Bargain stumbling success: a 1 TB portable 2.5-inch drive on Amazon — which was normally £85 — for £69. Perfect replacement for my noisy 3.5-inch Time Machine backup drive.
(I just want my backups to happen. I don’t want to see, hear, feel, or sense any indication that it is occurring.)

Buh‑bye, £60.

Moving it back. What was I thinking?

HP Kills Its webOS Hardware Business →
When I decided to try a non-iOS smartphone, I was choosing between the Pre 3 — which barely launched a couple of days ago — and a Windows Phone 7 device. Seems the choice I made was right; you won’t have a successful OS without an ecosystem.
The optimist in me hopes that HP will become an OS vendor and license webOS to third-party manufacturers, because I really want to see that rather...

I see Tumblr’s started to do iPad-compatible embedded video, at least on the blogs; doesn’t seem to be on the Dashboard yet. It’s not quite inline playback, but still nice nonetheless.
