I always wonder what writers sound like or how they speak as I read, because when you read, you inevitably do it your way, putting your voice on to other people’s words. Especially for non-fiction and opinion pieces, I like to imagine the writer explaining to me. Rarely do I find out though. When I first listened to The Talk Show, I was like, “That’s Daring Fireball‽”

I’d planned to do a “this is what I sound like” post, but thought I’d save it for one of my birthdays.
