A research team at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) is trying…new page-turning technology that’ll let you skim and flip through the contents of a book at your own pace. Features demonstrated on an iPad include turning multiple pages at once based on dragging time, and the ability to flip through upcoming pages while holding your place at another.
The page flipping from the bezel and multi-page turning with multi-finger swipes is good. By speed and length of press…not so sure.
Though to be honest, I still prefer scrolling, à la Instpaper. I want us to ditch the idea of pages.
