Before PR-T but sometime in the next 700 years, there’s WHICH, the wireless hairdryer from Buy n Large.

Still not sure whether it should be called WHICH or WHIC-H — “Wireless Hairdryer with Inductive CHarging” or “Wireless Hairdryer with Inductive Charging Home–class” — or should have “PR-T” in the name somewhere, so it’s a bit more obvious that this hairdryer is a predecessor to the pink robot.

Should it say “The world’s first wireless…” instead of “The new wireless…”? I’m not someone who uses a hairdryer, so I’m not too familiar with the market, but a quick search on Google and Amazon found no wireless products of this sort, but there is apparently a patent for it.

But those are small details that don’t matter. This was the hairdryer render for uni that I finished last night and just handed in today. All we had to do was make a CAD model of the thing and then render it in Max, but I had to make up a backstory. Keeps me entertained.

Bonus pats–on–the–back for spotting two other references, besides the one hinted/mentioned here and basically given away by the poster.

(Disclaimer: the overall shape of the hairdryer is not my own, although I did alter it to fit my backstory. This is the original drawing I was working from.)
