Behold! An Apple touchscreen device with no Home button!

I wonder if the nano was — maybe it still is — an exercise/experiment by Apple to see how far they can go with just a touchscreen.

Obviously tap-and-hold is currently being used for text selection and image saving on iOS, so as things are right now, you can’t use that action to go back to the Home screen on an iPhone or iPod touch. I’m just saying, if Apple is moving towards getting rid of that button, maybe this nano shows that — at the very least — users don’t find the learning curve to be too much, or necessarily need to toggle white-on-black or VoiceOver on-the-fly.
