It’s actually not a bad render. Too bad there’s so much wishful thinking.
- Touch sensitive back: I don’t get it.
- DVR? Like record TV directly on to your iPhone‽ Unless they meant adding an Apple TV–like menu system for navigation on TVs — à la the Zune — it’s not going to happen. 0%.
- For the sake of us being able to see while under the sun, I’m going to move OLED screens down from 90% to 40%.
- Built–in RFID for what? Oyster cards? Those kind of things are too local for a global phone.
- I do want dual–core processors, but I can’t help but wonder what battery life’s going to be like. Apple’s going to have to either shrink the PCB down so much that they can fit a bigger battery, or shrink the super batteries from the MacBooks. Plus it’s still relatively new tech, so it’ll be expensive. I wouldn’t put it at 80%. More like 20%. By the way, at what point are mobile processors in phones going to start need cooling fans?
- Snapdragon’s much more likely to happen. If we do get it, can we please have native HD playback please? Preferably 1080p, though I’ll settle for 720p. I’m tired of having to watch 480p podcasts on my laptop because I can’t sync HD ones to the iPhone. Kthxbye.
- How the fuck is 64GB of memory not pegged at 100%?
- Not so hot on front–facing cameras.
- Odd that they didn’t mention “screen with higher resolution”.
- At least they didn’t mention a physical keyboard.
